How billing works

How do subscriptions work?

When you subscribe, you're charged immediately for the first billing period. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel.

What's the difference between monthly and yearly?

Monthly plans are billed every month. Yearly plans are billed once per year and save you about 17% compared to paying monthly. Both plans include the same features.

What are Founding Member prices?

Founding Members are early supporters who subscribed during our launch period. They get permanently locked-in lower prices that will never increase, even as we add features.

When will I be charged?

You're charged immediately when you subscribe, then on the same date each billing period. For example, if you subscribe on January 15th with a monthly plan, you'll be charged on the 15th of each month.

Managing your subscription

How do I upgrade my plan?

Go to Settings > Billing and click 'Upgrade to Pro'. You'll be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period, then the full Pro price on your next renewal.

How do I downgrade my plan?

Go to Settings > Billing and click 'Manage Billing' to access the Stripe portal. From there, you can switch to a different plan. Your new plan will take effect at the start of your next billing period.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings > Billing and click 'Manage Billing'. In the Stripe portal, click 'Cancel plan'. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

What happens when I cancel?

When you cancel, your subscription continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, you'll lose access to paid features but can still use any free features.

Secure payments by Stripe

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of payment security.
