Last updated: March 2026
At ARKA-AI, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication information through our identity provider (Clerk). This is necessary to provide you with secure access to your workspace.
Usage Data
We collect basic usage metadata to improve our service, including feature usage patterns, error logs, and performance metrics. This data is anonymized and aggregated.
Conversation History
Your conversations with ARKA-AI are stored in your workspace to provide continuity and allow you to reference past conversations. You can delete conversations at any time.

Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. These are necessary for the service to function properly.
We may use analytics cookies to understand how users interact with our service. These are optional and can be disabled through your browser settings.
We do not use advertising cookies or share data with advertising networks.
Data Sharing & Third Parties
AI Providers: When you send a request, your prompt is sent to the selected AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) through your own API key. We do not store or intercept these communications beyond what's necessary for routing.
Service Providers: We use trusted service providers for authentication (Clerk), hosting, and infrastructure. These providers are bound by strict data protection agreements.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Your Consent & Control
The ARKA iOS app requires your explicit consent before any data is sent to AI providers. You will see a consent screen the first time you use an AI feature (chat, image generation, or tools).
You can review and revoke your consent at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy → AI Data Sharing within the app. Revoking consent will prevent AI features from functioning until consent is granted again. No data is sent to third-party providers without your active consent.
In-App Purchases & Account
You can browse the app and purchase subscriptions or credit packs without creating an account. Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit and are tied to your Apple ID.
An account is only required when you use AI features (which require credits). When you sign in, any purchases made while not signed in are automatically synced to your account.
