Supported Platforms

Setup Instructions

Twitter / X Setup

1. Go to Connections in ARKA AI
2. Click "Connect" on the Twitter card
3. Authorize ARKA AI to access your Twitter account
4. Grant read and write permissions
5. You'll be redirected back with Twitter connected

LinkedIn Setup

1. Go to Connections in ARKA AI
2. Click "Connect" on the LinkedIn card
3. Authorize ARKA AI to post on your behalf
4. If posting to company pages, ensure you have admin access
5. You'll be redirected back with LinkedIn connected

Facebook Setup

1. Ensure you have a Facebook Page (personal profiles not supported)
2. Go to Connections in ARKA AI
3. Click "Connect" on the Facebook card
4. Select which Pages to grant access to
5. Authorize ARKA AI to manage your pages

Instagram Setup

1. Convert your Instagram account to a Business account
2. Connect Instagram to a Facebook Page
3. Connect Facebook in ARKA AI (includes Instagram)
4. Select Instagram account during Facebook authorization

Platform-Specific Best Practices

Twitter / X

• Keep tweets under 280 characters
• Use 1-2 relevant hashtags (not more)
• Include images or videos for better engagement
• Post during peak hours (8-10 AM, 6-9 PM)
• Use threads for longer content

LinkedIn

• Professional tone and valuable insights
• Longer posts perform well (1,300-2,000 characters)
• Add line breaks for readability
• Include relevant hashtags (3-5)
• Post during business hours (Tue-Thu, 9 AM-12 PM)

Facebook

• Visual content gets 2.3x more engagement
• Keep text concise (40-80 characters ideal)
• Ask questions to encourage comments
• Post 1-2 times per day
• Best times: 1-3 PM on weekdays

Instagram

• High-quality images are essential
• Use 5-10 relevant hashtags
• Include a call-to-action in captions
• Post consistently (1 post per day)
• Best times: 11 AM-1 PM and 7-9 PM

Scheduling Posts

ARKA AI allows you to schedule posts in advance:

• Set specific date and time for each post
• Schedule across multiple platforms simultaneously
• View scheduled posts in your dashboard
• Edit or delete scheduled posts before they go live
• Automatic posting based on your timezone

Troubleshooting

Post Failed to Publish

If posts aren't publishing:

• Check that you haven't exceeded platform rate limits
• Verify your account is in good standing (not suspended)
• Ensure content doesn't violate platform policies
• Reconnect the integration to refresh permissions
• Check character limits and media requirements

Permission Errors

If you see permission errors:

• Reconnect the integration to refresh OAuth tokens
• Ensure you granted all requested permissions
• For Facebook/Instagram, verify Page admin access
• Check if the platform has changed API permissions

Media Upload Failed

If images/videos aren't uploading:

• Check file size limits (varies by platform)
• Verify image dimensions meet platform requirements
• Ensure file format is supported
• Try compressing large images before upload

Security & Privacy

• OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored securely
• We only post when you explicitly trigger an action
• We never read your DMs or private messages
• You can revoke access anytime from platform settings
• All scheduled posts are encrypted in our database

Platform Rate Limits

• Twitter: 300 tweets per 3 hours
• LinkedIn: 100 posts per day (personal), 25 per day (company)
• Facebook: No official limit, but ~25 posts/day recommended
• Instagram: 25 posts per day (Business accounts)
