Understanding the usage limits for each ARKA-AI plan. Learn how limits work and what happens when you reach them.
Both plans have daily usage limits that reset at midnight UTC. Here's what each limit means:
Free: 25/day • Starter: 200/day • Pro: Unlimited
Each message you send in the chat counts toward your daily limit. This applies to all conversations across your workspace. Free users (signed in without a subscription) get 25 messages per day.
Starter: 25/day • Pro: Unlimited
Each time you use a tool (Rewrite, Summarize, Explain, SEO, Prompt Improve), it counts as one use. This includes the initial request only - regenerations have their own separate limit.
Starter: 2 • Pro: Unlimited
After getting a response, you can regenerate to get a new output. Starter users can regenerate each message up to 2 times. Pro users can regenerate as many times as needed.
Starter: 1/day • Pro: Unlimited
The comparison feature runs your input through two different models side-by-side. Each comparison counts as one use. Starter users get 1 comparison per day.
Tokens determine how much text you can process and generate. Here are the limits for each plan:
| Limit Type | Starter | Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Max Context Window | 4,000 | 16,000 |
| Max Response (Low complexity) | 300 | 700 |
| Max Response (Medium complexity) | 700 | 1,600 |
| Max Response (High complexity) | 1,200 | 2,800 |
What's a Token?
Tokens are pieces of words. On average, 1 token ≈ 4 characters or about 0.75 words. A 1,000-word article is roughly 1,300 tokens.
The context window determines how much of your conversation history the AI can "remember" when generating responses:
You'll see a warning indicator in your workspace showing your remaining uses. This gives you time to plan your remaining work.
Once you reach your daily limit, the tool will show a message indicating when your limits reset (midnight UTC). You can still view your conversation history and previous outputs.
All daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC every day. You'll receive your full allocation again automatically.
Pro users enjoy unlimited chat messages, tool uses, regenerations, and comparisons. If you frequently hit your limits, upgrading to Pro will give you:
Pro Tip
If you're unsure whether you need Pro, start with Starter for a month. Your workspace will show how many uses you're consuming daily. If you consistently hit limits, upgrade to Pro.
